World No. 2 Roger Federer announced on Monday he’s pulling out of the Rogers Cup in Toronto, according to TSN’s Mark Masters.

Federer, who turns 37 next month, cited “scheduling being the key to my longevity” as the reason.

The 20-time Grand Slam winner fell in the quarterfinals of Wimbledon earlier this month, but won his sixth Australian Open title in January.
