Kevin Anderson has done the seemingly impossible.

Trailing No. 1 seed and reigning champion Roger Federer two sets to love in the Wimbledon quarterfinals, and facing a match point in the third, the eighth-ranked South African came all the way back to claim a 2-6, 6-7 (5), 7-5, 6-4, 13-11 marathon win and reach his first-ever semifinal at the All England Club.

Before Anderson embarked on his comeback, Federer had won a record-tying 34 consecutive sets at Wimbledon.
